the Design -> Code -> Simulate -> Prove -> Build loop is the right structure for teaching robotics without hardware - letting students fail fast in a 3D sim before touching a real robot is exactly where most classroom time gets wasted otherwise. being offline and open source matters a lot for a school setting where you can't rely on stable internet or a paid license per seat. the live sensor inspection panel is a nice touch for actually understanding why a program failed instead of just seeing it not work.
