Learn Mexican Slang is a platform for those that have a certain level of Spanish and are feeling a little stuck and lost in conversations, especially in Mexico and Latin America. The teaching technique appears to be very effective.
I've used a lot of language apps before, and let's not trick ourselves, nobody has learned a language solely by using those. This one has a nice caveat, teaching actual useful and fun daily language, and it achieves this in a great way. Instead stuff like "the green owl thinks the moon is made of cheese", it teaches you how to call out this bullshit. I've been saying the stuff I learned here to Spanish speakers I meet and it always guarantees I have a good time and make friends.
The app itself is designed elegantly, there's a lot of insight behind it. Clearly designed by people who has used other apps before and realized what they're lacking.

Story mode is incredible and it's my favourite part of the app. It's not just text-based so you get to actually speak with the app which gives you a more comprehensive understanding of your own skill. The conversation topics are interesting and there's new ones coming out on a regular basis.
App UX is slick and fast. 10/10 recommend Learn Mexican Slang if you're ever travelling to Mexico, or if you want to surprise your Mexican friends/family with some new words!

This is THE app for me to learn Mexican Spanish. I am using it since a few months now and on my last trip to Mexico and I was able to detect so many expressions in real conversations. I used other Spanish learning apps for years, but was never able to understand too much. Learn Mexican Slang has given me a real boost and I am intending to practise more with it. The stories and quizzes are hilarious and keep me entertained while discovering new words/meanings. What an absolutely great tool! Also recommending it to all my friends.
