I am a Korean user who has been using LilysAI since last year. I don't speak English very well, so I use a translator to comment.
I used to be dissatisfied with my English whenever I watched English videos, especially philosophy videos after I entered university, but the content was difficult and it was not easy to read the script with my limited English skills.
I came across LilysAI in a chat room sharing AI information. At first, I only knew it as a simple summary, but when I tried it, it did a good job translating the script. I haven't compared it to the DeepL translator, but it reads smoothly and is easy to understand.
There is also a feature that summarizes the video content in the form of a blog, which is more fun than I thought. I felt like a kind Korean education blogger was writing a blog post just for me, because the information I asked them to summarize didn't come up when I Googled it in Korean.
I also love the ability to chat with the AI about the video. LilysAI has a paid plan, but I only used the free plan because I'm a student. I was disappointed that I couldn't chat with a high-performing AI, but I was happy that I could send GPT a summary of the video and then save myself the trouble of chatting.
I'm a college student trying to save money on food, so I can't use the paid plan right now... If I end up reading the thesis later, I'll definitely consider the lilysAI paid plan.
When I searched on Google, I found that there is also a thesis translation and summary function. Since LilysAI is good at translating video scripts, I think it will be good enough for thesis translation.
