Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I've been in the design space long enough to watch the same friction repeat itself over and over: a founder needs a logo, hires a designer (expensive, slow), uses a template site (generic, soul-less), or opens Illustrator and gives up in 20 minutes.
The AI image generation boom promised to fix this — but most tools spit out beautiful images, not usable logos. No vectors. No transparent backgrounds. No brand consistency. Just a pretty JPEG you can't actually put on a business card.
That gap is what pushed me to build LogoGenAI.
The core idea was simple: what if generating a production-ready logo felt as fast as describing it? Not a starting point you still have to clean up — but something you can download as an SVG, scale to a billboard, and actually use today.
A few things I learned along the way that surprised me: Speed kills or saves the experience. We went through multiple AI backends before landing on one that generates in 10–20 seconds. Anything over 30s and users abandon. Attention is the real bottleneck.
Credits > subscriptions for trust. Especially for a tool people try once before committing. Showing exactly what you get — and what it costs — removes the anxiety of "am I wasting this?"
Watermarks can be honest UX. Free tier logos are watermarked, but upgrading delivers the clean original instantly. No re-generating, no waiting. That felt important to get right.
Still a lot ahead — brand kit generation, mockup previews, team plans — but the core loop works, and I'm proud of how fast it gets you from idea to usable logo.
Would love your honest feedback, especially from designers and founders who've felt this pain firsthand. What would make LogoGenAI a tool you actually reach for?
