After building Lovaround, I kept experimenting with small products around indie makers, distribution and new ways to launch things.
Today I launched a new one: AdSurface.
The idea is pretty simple: turn unused space in the Mac menu bar into an opt-in advertising surface.
Brands get a new placement to reach Mac users, while users who choose to display sponsors receive 70% of the ad revenue.
A month ago, there was an identical project called FoundersAround
Lovaround
@cichykrzysztof Yes — we actually saw FoundersAround too (cool idea btw!).
What we’re trying with Lovaround is a slightly different vibe: less directory, more human map. Something more playful, visual, and open — where people can instantly see who’s out there, without even signing up.
We’re also thinking in public about features that go beyond just location — like tags, discovery by vibe/stack/stage, or async ways to spark conversations 💬
Totally appreciate the comparison though — the world definitely needs more ways for builders to connect.
Let’s see where this goes 🚀💜

Love the idea of mapping where indie hackers & founders hang out—makes finding local vibes so much easier, tbh. Super smart move, team!
