Hello everyone Today, we’re finally launching Mira75. We’ve actually been talking about this product on Discord, Reddit, X, and a few other places for months — basically anywhere people were willing to give us feedback. We probably spent the most time going back and forth on the screen. We didn’t want to add one just because it looked cool. There are already plenty of keyboards that can show a clock or some system stats. We wanted this screen to be something you’d actually enjoy playing around with — themes, controls, shortcuts, macros, little interactive features, whatever makes sense for how you use your keyboard. And of course, it’s still a mechanical keyboard first. That part mattered a lot to us too. Anyway, Mira75 went live on Kickstarter today. After staring at prototypes for so long, it feels a little surreal to finally put it out there We’d love to hear what you think — what would you actually put on that screen?

Since the software interface is currently just a demo designed to demonstrate functionality, the design may appear somewhat unpolished; we plan to optimize the UI later. However, all the core features shown in the video have already been implemented, and our current focus is on improving the software's stability.

Kickstarter is over. A final note on Mira75

Kickstarter is over, so I wanted to leave one last note here about Mira75.

It didn t perform the way we hoped, and I won t pretend otherwise.

We spent a lot of time on this keyboard and probably got a little too close to the product while building it. When you work on something every day, it s easy to feel like every feature makes sense. Once you put it in front of real people, you get a very different answer.

That part was useful.

We thought more people would want this keyboard. Were we wrong?

We're about halfway through the Mira75 crowdfunding campaign now and the response so far is honestly a bit lower than we expected. We've been working on this keyboard for quite a while, especially the wide screen, because we thought having shortcuts, controls, widgets and other stuff right above the keyboard could actually be useful. But seeing the response now, I'm starting to wonder if maybe we just like this idea more than most people do. Maybe people don't really want another screen on their desk, or maybe we haven't found a good enough reason for it to be there yet.

So I'm curious if you saw Mira75 and decided not to buy it, what was the reason? I'm actually more interested in that than hearing that it looks cool. Trying to understand whether we should improve the idea, explain it differently, or if this kind of keyboard is just a pretty small niche.
