I have been using ModularDS for about half a year. It works very well. I had zero problems. I have 15 websites connected to it. I use it for updating and database cleaning and smaller things like that. Support is super helpful but I didn't have any real issues anyway. Updates are coming steadily and the features that are being added are great. I have not used any other Wordpress management tools before, but I don't think any of them are better than Modular, from reading their list of features and Modular is still young, so I am expecting it to blow up sometime soon. It's one of the few tools that I can 100% confirm it was worth adding to my stack.
Modular is still young but gets constant updates and these updates are spot on.
I didn't really consider the alternaties because I didn't want to self host and didn't want recurring costs either and didn't absolutely need a wordpress management tool. But Modular seemed great so I just went for it. It for sure seemed convenient to have one.

I've been managing all my WordPress sites with Modular DS for about 10 months. It's reliable, easy to use, and has great features from the basics of updating themes, plugins and core, to backups, security and reporting. Recently they have added a Psychiatric integration and an automated visual check, to ensure sites have not broken after updates - very handy!
The team is constantly adding great new features and the odd time I have had an issue, support has been responsive and helpful.
The pricing is also sensible to scale unlike some of its competitors.
I thoroughly recommend ModularDS.
I'm still waiting for automated cache clearing after updates to support the plugin I use, but the fact they have already implemented this for the most popular cache plugins is testament to their commitment to adding features that we need.

Kudos on the Modular DS for getting onto Product Hunt. I would recommend Modular to anyone needs hassle free WordPress site maintenance and reporting. I use the dashboard daily to log into multiple sites and to get a quick overview of all sites. Now with reporting templates it is even easier to get up and running. I've been using Modular DS since January and couldn't be happier. And thanks for the continued improvements!
There are a few nice to halves that are already planned and on the roadmap.
I got it off appsumo and later upgraded my tier because I was impressed with the product and support from Hector
From memory, we can approve any plugin update
The malware detection has been a saving grace. It works well and recommendations of which plug-in to upgrade.
There is a specific section for Teams. I've got my assistant connected too and we both get updates and reporting

ModularDS has honestly been a lifesaver for me. One of my sites completely broke and I couldnât log in at all â but thanks to ModularDS, I was able to jump in from their dashboard and fix everything without any hassle. I also love how easy it is to create backups whenever I need them, so I always feel safe making changes. Plugin updates that used to take forever are now done in just a couple of clicks, and my sites stay secure because of it. Everything is centralized, simple to use, and just makes managing WordPress way less stressful. Iâm genuinely happy I found this tool!

It's well on its way to being the best-in-class tool for WP site management with features like visual site checking after plugin updates combined with automatic rollback.
I also love that Whatsapp notification integration has been added for downtime notifications.

Hace año y medios los conocĂ y hace poco menos de 1 un año estoy ocupando ModularDS y vino a solucionar un gran problema que existĂa. No sĂ© si sea la mejor herramienta del mundo para gestionar mantenimientos, pero se nota el esfuerzo por construir una herramienta con su comunidad; hoy en dĂa es una de las herramientas vitales para mi negocio. El hecho de que puedas gestionar todo el mantenimiento de varias webs desde un mismo espacio es genial. Automatizar informes, actualizaciones de plug-ins, WordPress y temas e incluso que ahora, mientras realizas las actualizaciones, haga un backup y te diga si ha ocurrido algĂșn problema y seas tĂș quien decide se continĂșa o no con la actualizaciĂłn o levantar una web con problemas desde un backup desde el mismo espacio de ModularDS, sin que tener que entrar a tu Wordpress es genial.
Otro apartado ha sido el soporte, aunque casi no lo he usado, ya que la herramienta es sĂłlida y funciona muy bien, las veces que he necesitado soporte han sido muy cordiales y rĂĄpidos en la gestiĂłn.

Been using ModularDS for a few months with 8 WP websites. It works well. Didn't have to use the backup feature so far but I find it nice to use and it's made quite a few progress since I subscribed. It's a solid product.

Love the product, love the team. I bought the LTD and wanted to support their dev efforts. Early versions did not have reporting templates, and they've built that out and now it works great! Very happy and I look forward to all the features offered now, and the ones they are still working on for the future.
