This looks genuinely useful for creators who want faster output without getting stuck in editing software. The no-timeline workflow is what stands out most here, because subtitle tools often become more work than they should be.
Curious, which type of creators are picking this up fastest so far, short-form content creators or people working on longer videos too?
MS AUTO CAPTIONS
@akshay_kumar_hireid Great question — right now it’s definitely short-form creators picking this up the fastest.
With platforms like Reels, Shorts, and TikTok, speed and retention matter a lot more, and subtitles play a huge role there. Short-form videos tend to get significantly higher engagement and completion rates compared to long-form, especially when captions are used.
That said, I’m also seeing interest from people working with longer content — mainly for repurposing clips into short-form or improving accessibility.
So short-form is the main use case right now, but long-form creators are starting to use it as part of their workflow too.
If you want to try it on your own content, I can give you free access 👍
this is nice tbh. subtitles are one of those things everyone knows they need, but making them look good usually takes way more effort than expected. being able to just upload, pick a style and get a finished video out sounds super practical.
curious, which subtitle style are people using the most right now?

@nayan_surya98 Really appreciate that — you summed up the exact problem I was trying to solve 🙌
Right now, styles like “Active Color (Hormozi)” and “Word Pop” tend to be the most popular, especially for short-form content. They grab attention quickly and work well for retention.
That said, it really depends on the type of content, some creators prefer minimal styles like “Classic Outline” for a cleaner look.

I make short-form content — this could save me a lot of time. Does it work well with background music?
MS AUTO CAPTIONS
@ashil_razak Yeah — this is actually one of the most common use cases.
It works well with background music as long as the voice is clear and not completely drowned out. Modern AI models are trained on mixed audio, so they can handle typical music levels pretty reliably.
That said, if the music is very loud or has vocals, it can reduce accuracy a bit — that’s true for almost all subtitle tools since background audio can interfere with speech recognition.
For most short-form content (like reels with music under voice), it performs well in real scenarios.
If you want, I can give you free access so you can test it on your own videos 👍
It's very rare to see such app for the Windows ecosystem. Congrats on the launch.

@zerotox
Really appreciate that 🙌
Yeah, most tools in this space are either web-based or tied to heavy editors — I wanted to build something simple, fast, and native for Windows without needing timelines or complex setups.
If you’re on Windows, happy to let you try it out 👍
