An open source chat app with many features such as: Sharing what music you're listening to or what YouTube video you are watching, Custom Emojis, Make your own community by creating a new server, creating posts on your profile and more!
Has a lot of potential and a lot of great features, UI is a bit of an acquired taste and can take some getting used too! But is amazing after the initial couple uses :P The founder is amazing and genuinely cares about his community as well.
Also mixes social media aspects (Followers & Posts), without it feeling like an unneeded feature
Friendly team behind it, and a free-experience, has a lot of frequent updates and a lot more of a safe environment in comparison to competitors! :D

Please try out Nerimity, and give some feedback. I'm not that good with design, I would appreciate if someone could help me make design improvements and also suggest some features.
Thanks <3
congratulations on the launch of nerimity, supertigerdev. it's exciting to see new innovations in the chat app space, especially one that embraces the open source model. i'm curious about the decision to allow users to share what media they're consuming directly in the chat. could you elaborate on how you see this feature enhancing user engagement compared to traditional chat apps? also, regarding the design aspects you're looking to improve, have you considered user feedback mechanisms to guide your enhancements? best of luck refining nerimity.

@mashy Thanks a lot!
It's always nice to see what you're friends are up to, whether it's music from Spotify or a video from YouTube. It could start conversations as well. Now, Discord already has this feature but it's only restricted to Spotify, their RPC does not allow dynamic images.
People can send feedback to the official Nerimity server in Nerimity. there is a feature request channel there. People may also create pull requests or issues on GitHub.
