Why I built O²Prex I built O²Prex because I kept running into the same problem in large software projects: traditional IDEs are great for writing code, but they don’t help much when it comes to truly understanding the architecture behind it. As projects grow, codebases become harder to navigate, dependencies become invisible, and onboarding new developers can take far too long. I wanted a better way to see the whole system — not just files and folders, but the actual object-oriented structure, relationships, and dependencies that define how the project works. O²Prex was created to fill that gap. It gives developers a visual architecture layer above their IDE, with a single source of truth for the project structure, live search, dependency analysis, AI-readable export, and controlled code generation. My goal was to make large codebases easier to understand, manage, and evolve — especially when clarity and architectural control matter more than ever.
