Awesome product you have built and I can tell you worked hard for it.
You can also monitor domain name expiration and send notifications accordingly, that's something I would look for as well.
I'd reconsider offering the database backup free tool at https://databasebackup.siteobser... as asking for database credentials publicly isn't the way I'd go.
@andreiciulinaru Hello, Observer already monitoring domain expiration date and all dns records daily. Sends notifications about them. Also archiving, so you can see the history of your domain dns record changes. You can try it :)
About database tool, we have built this tool to make the instant database backup process easier. We think that not every database contains a sensitive data. Like maybe you have a database that holds just your website’s blog posts, and want to backup them very easily. Most of people who has sensitive data in their database will not use this tool probably - and thats pretty normal-.
About security, we are not storing the database credentials for instant backups, and all the requests are transport via HTTPS.
Also inside Observer, there are Scheduled Backup feature which taking and saving backups periodically. We are storing credentials with AES-256 encrypted for this process.
