Just signed up. It looks good! When adding books I have read, I would like to be able to edit the read date since I am adding books I read in the past. Also, is it just available on the web or are there phone apps?

How is this different than Goodreads? Why should I switch? The features look the same and I get to pay for some of them?
First of all, congrats to the makers for launching for real. I've been using Oku for quite a while now and what I like most about it compared to alternatives is that there is zero pressure to it. If I don't want to, I don't have to worry about how much I've read. I don't feel obliged to finish books I don't read and it helps me keep track of the multiple books I'm reading at the same time. β€οΈ

It's so good! I've been using this app for a few months and it's beautiful, functional, and helps me actually keep track of what I'm reading. I particularly like the PWA that you can install directly to your home screen. Congrats to the team on the launch π

Congrats on the launch π I just uploaded my list from Goodreads and am excited to start using this regularly!
As feedback, the import from Goodreads took a little longer than I was expecting - It would have been nice to see a progress bar. One feature that I would have loved to see is a list of recommended books based on what I've read in the past. The discover weekly feature was what convinced me to switch exclusively to Spotify early on.
