It delivers overwhelming performance and cost efficiency compared to Elasticsearch

What needs improvement

The UX/UI still needs improvement. Traces are not yet easy to navigate.

vs Alternatives

It delivers overwhelming performance and cost efficiency compared to Elasticsearch. The open-source version, Slack-based customer support, pricing, and Enterprise tier (200GB per month) are virtually identical to the paid features — there's no real difference.

What's great

Compared to the Elastic/Kibana stack, it delivers much better performance and disk efficiency. It allowed us to scale our logging seamlessly, .

What needs improvement

mobile UI can be better

vs Alternatives

rust-based architecture likely plays a big role — the difference in memory and resource usage compared to other alternatives is remarkable, setup for clients and server is also easier

Great replacement for Datadog. Feature parity and much cheaper. Team is also insanely responsive to feature recommendations or bug fixes.

What needs improvement

Still working towards feature parity with datadog, specifically tracing
