@yasnokry right now there is about a 15-20 second delay while it scans the internet and pulls out the information relevant to your search, in the next few months we will integrate it with chat so it's more like perplexity. Right now we're getting a lot of positive reviews for research use cases and niche searches that would take an hour or more to find answers to, so people don't mind waiting a bit to get the answers.

@aiian It probably was due to my gazillion chrome blocker extensions. In any case. FTUX was a bit of an init turnoff. you should let users try it like 2-3 times before signup is needed. But I gave it a shot anyways. And I really like it so far. Much deeper than perplexity which has become rather low quality as of late. probably due to high traffic demands. Im curious how you will make money tho? If it remains free, then I think google is in trouble 😅
@sentry_co yeah it looks like it was an 0auth error on refresh. once we have funding we're going to actually get rid of mandatory log-in and just make it optional for saving searches, api access, and business features. Just have to control costs in the short-term.
Monetize off api usage for business, and affiliate revenue for consumer search.
@aiian Sweet! Well as a testimonial from an early user. I added it to a permanent chrome tab. next to codemate.bot phind.com perplexity. will be using it for the next few days and recommend it to a few networks etc.
