Outverse is an amazing website. It's a great platform for people to interact with each other and share their ideas, thoughts, etc. They are very active on social media as well. I love how it provides everything you need in one place including forums, custom spaces (pages), blogs, video posting sites like Youtube or Vimeo which can be shared easily via the site interface or through links/embeds from other platforms such as Twitter or Facebook!
Thought I would add my own 2 cents on why I'm excited to be launching Outverse today with the team!
I've spent the last several years building and running my own community of designers, and when I launched it in 2016 using a social platforms group function. I've seen amazing growth and had a great time - but at the end of the day, I know that my community will stay there - I have no ownership, I have no portability and I am only able to offer them the experience/features that are handed to me.
Knowing what I know now several years on, this is what I value:
Ownership - I want to be able to own my community, I should not have to worry about losing that on a whim.
Customizable - I want to make my community look, feel and work the way I want, whether I am technical or not.
Sustainable - Anyone who's participated or ran communities using chat apps knows it's chaos at a large scale - we can't expect meaningful discussion to happen that way forever - we need optionality not compromise, because every community is different.
These things are always on my mind as I help build Outverse, I can't wait to help enable others to build meaningful community on the internet.

super excited for this! Having a solution for communities to have everything in one space will lower the barrier of people coming together, exchaning and collaborating on all sorts of things - can’t wait to see where this goes!
