1. Inspiration I’ve always believed that the biggest barrier to Web3 mass adoption is the payment and deposit user experience. Even on giant platforms like Coinbase and Binance, the deposit process still feels like a total piece of 💩 !!! At the same time, users are forced to endure complex manual transfer processes, which are incredibly prone to errors, such as selecting the wrong network. My goal is to build a purely decentralized payment system for the world that is as smooth as Web2 where "merchants retain 100% control over their funds," while users can complete a seamless payment with just a single click. 2. Problem Current Web3 payments are "broken" in two dimensions: For Merchants: Existing crypto payment gateways have the power to freeze your funds at any time. Meanwhile, the current MPC wallet models involve extremely high costs for fund consolidation (sweeping), which heavily erodes platform profits. For Users: To make a payment, users must manually copy wallet addresses, verify public chains, select tokens, and type in amounts. These complex, open ended operations make it extremely easy for users to make mistakes and lead to a very high churn rate. This experience is like trying to buy a bag of coffee beans online in 2026, but having to manually open a bank app to transfer money to the seller's account it feels like traveling back to the 90s, doesn't it? 3. Approach & Process Our product, paythefly, has completely reconstructed the payment workflow: Zero Code Deployment: Any merchant can use our dashboard to deploy a completely independent, non custodial smart contract that belongs entirely to them in just one click (2 seconds). Merchants hold their own private keys; paythefly never touches the funds. One Click Checkout: Our operation is incredibly smooth. When a user clicks "Pay," the system automatically pops up a "Payment Confirmation Page" and supports over 500 decentralized wallets globally. The user simply clicks the "Authorize Payment" button to complete the transaction instantly. No manual input, no worries about picking the wrong chain. Furthermore, once order information is created, it can never be tampered with, ensuring high security. API First: We designed it as a "plug and play" API. Whether it's a Web2 e-commerce site, a Web3 application, or a brick and mortar store, integrating paythefly is as simple as adding a button.
