Hey Product Hunt 👋 Solo iOS dev here. I built Phone Doctor after dropping my phone at the beach last summer — water got into the bottom speaker and the audio sounded underwater for a full week. Tried rice (didn't help), tried just waiting it out (slow), and was about to book a Genius Bar appointment when I learned about sound-based water ejection — the same trick Apple Watch uses for its water lock. A tuned low-frequency tone played at full volume actually vibrates water droplets right out of the speaker grilles. It worked on my phone in about 60 seconds. I figured if I'd never heard of this until I got desperate, plenty of other people probably haven't either. So I built an app that does the water ejection cleanly (tuned frequency, controlled timing, no risk of overdriving the speaker), and also helps diagnose other audio issues most people don't realize they can self-check: - Test each speaker individually so you know which one is failing - Record and play back from each mic before an important call - Loosen dust and lint stuck in the speaker mesh with controlled vibration Phone Doctor is free on the App Store. The diagnostic tests are all free forever; the cleaning modes are a small one-time unlock so I can keep working on it without ads. This is my first solo iOS launch.
