At a Christmas party in December 2019, we overheard a conversation at the neighbouring table. A man quietly told his friend that he had a little too much wine and that his wife would certainly hear it in his voice when he called her to ask her to pick him up. Then he asked the bartender for the street name and house number. The man stood up from the table, pressed a hand to his free ear, it was very loud in the restaurant and he shouted into the phone: "Pick me up, and no I am not drunk. " Alex and I looked at each other and the idea was born. Time has passed since then. We started with a plan. We wanted to release our next app. And then nine months later Pick me app was born. We managed everything besides our full-time day jobs and sacrificed plenty of Friday and Saturday nights. From time to time it was pretty frustrating and we just wanted to quit everything.
