Wispr Flow's dictation pill is locked to bottom-center. PillFloat moves it anywhere — top, side, corner, wherever it's out of your way. Free, open source, installs via Homebrew in 30 seconds. Built with macOS Accessibility APIs. Works as a lightweight menu bar utility — set your position, forget it exists.

installed it, moved the pill to bottom-left, forgot about it. exactly what a tool like this should do tbh, that thing was driving me nuts
@daniel_punke Love to hear that! Glad you found value :)
Also, just warming up on the functionality — any time you want to move the pill around, as long as Pill Float is up and running, you can just drag and move the pill to wherever you want to place it.
Crazy that accessibility APIs are being used to fix missing product features.
@joshua_hayes3 I swear! Had to be done.
It just got so annoying over time, having to constantly quit and re-launch on need basis.
So took it into my own hands to solve it.
Hope you like it!

@evrendombak Haha, I'm glad we resonate on that thought of annoyance.
Hope you like what I've put together — looking to refine this further basis your feedback!
Upvote the launch here on Product Hunt if you like the idea and star the repo on Github if you like what's been put together :)
