Love the "drop a pin" UX for location reminders, it's one of those things that should've existed natively years ago. The map-first approach feels way more intuitive than typing an address into a text field. Curious how you handle geofence accuracy in dense urban areas where GPS can bounce around a lot?

@lepaulrenardย Appreciate it! Yeah, Apple should definitely have implemented it themselves, but I guess I'm happy since it left the window open for me ๐. And yes, dense areas can definitely be tricky, but Apple's CoreLocation does a pretty solid job under the hood, and I rely heavily on it. For the GPS bouncing in dense cities, that's actually exactly why I added the custom radius slider. If you know you're going somewhere with bouncy GPS, you can just widen the trigger area to 300m or 500m so it doesn't accidentally miss you.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to post a quick update since it's been almost a month since launch.
The feedback from this community was amazing. A lot of you pointed out that navigation felt a bit slow and asked for things like cross-device dark mode syncing and usage stats.
I spent the last few weeks heads-down building all of that. Pinly v2 just went live on the App Store today. I added swipe gestures to instantly toggle or delete reminders, fully synced dark mode via iCloud, and a brand new stats dashboard. I also completely redesigned the onboarding so new users can see how the app works right away.
Thanks again to everyone here who left feedback on launch day. It directly shaped this entire update.

Wow, I just wanted to drop a quick comment to say a massive thank you to everyone so far. ๐
Hitting nearly 100 upvotes as a solo indie dev is completely surreal for me. The feedback and questions in the comments have been incredibly helpful, and it's just really cool to see people validating a problem I had, and the solution I made for it.
I'll be hanging around for the rest of the day, so if anyone else has feedback, feature requests, or questions about how I built it, please keep them coming!

@george_estherย Yes๐! Leaving the store with everything except the one thing I actually went there for is the exact loop I get stuck in. Hopefully the app saves you from having to make a few of those second trips! Thank you so much for checking the launch out!
