Hey PH, One of our clients consults businesses and business owners wrote this book called Plan to Not Pay Taxes. I know the title sounds like something you might hear in a 2am infomercial, but the strategy he outlines is really interesting. He goes into detail about saving money in a Roth IRA which would then fund a business in your retirement years that yields you tax free income. The strategy is 100% legal and upheld by the IRS. In fact, this is a strategy used by those wealthy enough to afford the advice. It's not promoted by financial advisors since it doesn't provide them a lot in fees. Roth IRAs become tax free when you turn 59 1/2. For most of us, we'll be living a lot longer than 59 1/2. If you live till you're 100, that's a lot of years to have a tax free investment.
