Parking reservations at major ski resorts sell out fast, especially on weekends and powder days. Powderlogic watches sold-out parking for the resort and date you want and alerts you when a spot opens back up. Built after dealing with this ourselves at Alta in Utah. Now supports 10 resorts across Utah, Tahoe, Colorado, and Whistler with push, email, and SMS alerts.

Parking reservations at major ski resorts have become a real pain, especially on weekends, holidays, and powder days.
This started for us at Alta in Utah, where even season pass holders still need parking reservations. The spots sell out fast, and if you miss it, the only real option is sitting there refreshing the reservation page hoping a cancellation pops up.
Around the same time I saw a post on the Utah skiing subreddit that stuck with me. A guy was trying to get to Brighton with his kids. He had already been waiting at the bus stop for an hour and a half and had watched four buses go by without stopping.
He said he had been trying for a week to get a parking reservation, but everything was sold out for the next six weeks. So he figured the only option was getting his kids up early and trying the bus.
Then another bus went by without stopping. His kids were on the verge of tears and he asked, “What am I supposed to do? I’ve already paid for our passes and we can’t even get up there to use them.”
That one stuck with me. I’m a parent too and I know how frustrating that kind of morning can be.
So I built Powderlogic.
You pick the resort and date you want and Powderlogic watches the parking page for you. If a spot opens, you get an alert with the booking link so you can grab it quickly.
It started with Alta, then we added more resorts because this clearly is not just a Utah problem. Today it covers 10 resorts across Utah, Tahoe, Colorado, and Whistler.
No auto booking. No weird bot stuff. Just a heads up when parking opens.
Would love feedback from others here:
1. What resorts should we add next?
2. Which alert type do you prefer: push, email, or SMS?
3. Has parking changed how you plan ski days?
