👋 Hi everyone, I built PromptZilla out of personal frustration working on my internet DJ blog (1). I found myself continually writing out the same paragraph long contexts as prompts to ChatGPT to improve my result. Overtime, I wrote down these prompts in random places like Apple Notes / Obsidian but I could never find them when I needed them, and so ended up having to write and re-write them again and again. So I created this extension to store all the prompts in locally in the browser as well as inject them into a next conversion. You can always export your prompts / app DB and reimport as needed. I'm hoping to build a MacOS app soon and add other LLM agents / engines as I go. A major design goal is simplicity, I know there's lots of fancy things you can do with variables / customization to 10x your productivity - but I really love simple and basic software that does one thing well.
