Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Oleg, founder of Raccoon Machines. I'm a lifelong car enthusiast, and this project started from a problem I kept running into myself. Properly inspecting a vehicle's underside without a lift is frustrating. Most people end up crawling on the ground with a flashlight or recording long, shaky videos that are difficult to review later. We built the tool we wanted to use ourselves. Raccoon Machines combines a low-profile inspection kit with an iPhone app that guides the capture process, organizes inspections, and uses computer vision through SpeedReview to automatically organize passes and highlight the most useful frames. This launch is our first product, but not our only one. Alongside the smartphone inspection kit, we're also building dedicated camera systems and professional inspection tools for more advanced workflows. Our goal is to make vehicle underbody inspection accessible to everyone—from enthusiasts and buyers to mechanics and inspection professionals. We'd love your feedback.
