I love cooking at home for my family. However, some of my family members have dietary restrictions with fat and sodium. I saved my best recipes and this app makes everything easier! Love it!

@giulianna_santos Yes, the app is especially useful to those on special food regimes, people trying to cut down or increase the consumption of particular nutrients. Thanks for your support.

If you love cooking/meal prepping and really want to know the nutritional value of the ingredients you consume, then you'll love this app. Not only is it educational and helps me learn more about what I'm eating, it's also fun to use and you can save your favourite recipes –– win!!
@kristofertm Sure. RecipeIQ app is using OCR - optical character recognition. This technology converts images of typed or printed text into text on the app. That is what helps users to fetch all ingredients from the photos of recipes they like.
Most ingredients in our database are retrieved from the FoodData Central database of U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE but we are constantly improving it, adding more and more popular foods that users submit themselves.
@kristofertm Thank you for hunting our app. :) I hope that knowing what we're eating can help make healthier life choices much easier. Product Hunters, let us know how you feel about the app...We are eager to hear your thoughts.
