Enter your room dimensions and Renovio calculates exact material quantities - paint, tiles, wallpaper, flooring, concrete, plaster, primer. Seven calculators, each tailored to the material. The app auto-subtracts doors and windows, accounts for waste, and breaks results down to packages with estimated cost. Save calculations, group them into projects by room, export PDF for your contractor. Three calculators are free forever - no account, no ads. Pro is a one-time purchase, no subscription.

@julia_butym Thanks Julia! It took around 3 months from the first idea to launch, though honestly the first weeks was mostly sketching screens and figuring out which calculators people actually need. I wanted Renovio to feel like a proper native app, not just a web view with a wrapper. SwiftUI helped a lot with the dark mode, that part was almost free. Most of the real time went into the calculation engines. Each material has different rules - paint depends on surface type and number of coats, tiles on layout pattern and grout width, wallpaper on pattern repeat length. Getting those right took way more iterations than I expected.
Cool that everything is stored locally and no account needed. That's rare these days. What made you choose SwiftData over Core Data? Also, any plans for an Android version?
@mateusz_kaminsk_i Good question! SwiftData was a natural choice, it's Apple's modern take on persistence and works beautifully with SwiftUI. Less boilerplate than Core Data and the @Model macro keeps things clean. Since Renovio targets iOS 17+ I didn't need to worry about backward compatibility, so it was an easy call.
As for Android - not in the immediate plans since I'm a solo dev and want to get the iOS version really solid first. But if there's enough demand I'd definitely consider it down the road.
Downloaded it and tried the paint calculator. It told me I need 7L instead of 10L I was about to buy. That's like $30 saved on one room alone. The waste margin feature is really smart.
Honestly I clicked expecting another basic calculator with ads every where... Pleasantly surprised, it’s fast, clean, and actually useful
