Create a Ruom — a beautiful space for anything you want to share.
Files, videos, documents — all organized in one place. Send one link.
Your recipient walks right in. No accounts.
No downloads.
No confusion. And the moment they open it — you'll know. See who opened it, how long they stayed, and what they viewed — in real time.

@eliasweiser Looks promising — what's the benefit compared to Dropbox, for instance?
@qvaz_ Good question! Dropbox is great for storing
your own files but when you share from it,
your recipient lands in your folder structure
and often needs an account just to access it.
Ruom is built around the moment your work
reaches someone. You create a space and
your recipient opens one link and walks
right in. No account. No confusion.
Its like Dropbox stores your work. Ruom presents it.

@eliasweiser Ok, sounds interesting / promising. Could you share some information about your business model. I see that you have free plan but of course there must be some costs, etc. So I am curious to know what is behind.
@qvaz_ Yeah, exactly—we have a free plan, which comes with limited storage space and rooms. The other plans cost extra for more storage space and ruoms. We generally have database and storage costs, so we can't offer everything for free.
@eliasweiser cool Idea How exactly does creating a "room" work? Do you just put the files you want in there and then you can send them like that
Looks interesting! I think focusing on the consumers experience is a real problem to solve.
First glance at the site and all I want to know is that my data/files are secure, so I would suggest amping up the messaging about this. I can see from your privacy policy you are taking the right steps - elevate some of these points to the homepage.
