Schematic is a modern monetization platform. Drive revenue with usage based billing, support sales and product lead deals, and save time with drop in components like customer portals, checkout flows, and paywalls.
Within Schematic, you basically configure your pricing table as features and plans. For example, you would have
Free plan that entitles a company to 1 user, Currency Selection, and 500 units of Inventory Management (I assume this is pieces?)
a Basic plan that entitles a company to 1 user, Currency Selection, 1,000 units of Inventory Management, 1,000 Contacts, 10 Invoices per month, and Linked Artist Accounts.
Pro plan ...
Pro Plus plan ...
Then at a product level, Schematic works like a feature flag. When the "invoices" page loads, you ask us if a customer can generate an invoice. We check their plan and their current usage and tell you yes/no. If they are on a Free plan, the answer is always no. If they are on the Pro plan, it will be yes as long as they have generated less than 100 this month. Whenever they generate an invoice, you send us a event and we'll update our usage stats.
This way, you could give Free users access to 1 invoice a month as a teaser, and you wouldn't need to change anything in your product. You could adjust that number every week and see if it effects conversion rates. Pricing totally decoupled from engineering, so you have full control (and your devs have more time to build the product!)
Does that all make sense? Happy to give you a deeper dive!
@kevinjaspal Thanks. The need for deep usage based metering for AI-native businesses is a real pain we're seeing. We've been fortunate to work with a few great one likes getzep.com, and we're excited to work with more!
Hey! Awesome launch 🚀!!
Team Atlas is in the same space. I hope you guys take off because we are all trying to make monetization easier for everyone 🤑.
Good luck fellas!! 🍀
@Schematic is solving a real problem in SaaS. Many founders (myself included) undervalue their products, and even when they consider updating pricing, the technical burden often creates an unnecessary barrier. One huge lesson I’ve learned is that every company should be continually discussing and iterating on its pricing. Schematic makes that a breeze!
@prakawesome You're absolutely right -- it's so hard as a founder to ask for what your product's worth. This was a big reason my last startup failed :(. We're glad that we can help correct this mistake more quickly!
We love Schematic! My team and I are able to support customers and manage our billing SO much faster now. @fynnglover19, @benjamin_papillon, @giohobbins and team are incredible to work with and they're solving very real problems for customers like us.
Congrats on the launch — love the clean execution!
Quick question — how flexible is the system when it comes to mixing pricing models (e.g. combining usage-based with seat-based or flat-fee structures)?
At my first startup, we hardcoded pricing. Every change required engineering, and were unable to leverage pricing & packaging to drive growth.
Later, I ran pricing at a $30M+ ARR company — and even there, launching an AI feature, testing usage-based pricing, or updating a plan meant engineering sprints and billing risk.
We left millions on the table and through that process came to believe that pricing should live in config, not code.
We built Schematic so SaaS and AI companies can decouple pricing from code, eliminate billing debt, and empower product and GTM to own monetization flexibly — without code changes, duct-tape systems, or painful billing migrations.
Our ICPs are art galleries to whom we provide SaaS solutions for their inventory management and sales.
How would Schematic work for us?

@laura_cruickshanks Thanks! Seems like you have a different take on the same problem. Best of luck out there 💪

@protsenkoalexandra Hi Alexandra, hybrid pricing is a common use case and supported out of the box. Would love to give you a demo: https://calendly.com/schematic/schematic-demo

Hey PH 👋 — I’m Fynn, co-founder of Schematic.
Why we built this
At my first startup, we hardcoded pricing.
What you can do with Schematic
With just a few lines of code, you can:
Launch usage-based pricing (credits, seats, tokens, overages)
Roll out, entitle, gate, track usage, and monetize features — all from a flag
Support multi-product and modular plans
Run trials, add-ons, and custom deals without touching backend code
Enforce limits to drive conversion and expansion
Embed pricing tables and customer portals directly in your app
Product Hunt offer
If you want your engineers focused on product — not billing — and your product & GTM folks to own and iterate on monetization, give Schematic a try.
You can sign up and try the product for free, or book a time with one of our founders to chat through your pricing & packaging model.
This week only: $200 off any paid plan for Product Hunt users. Would love to hear what you think — and if it feels like a fit 🚀
Happy monetizing!
