Glad to see SimpleLogin featured on Product Hunt. I've been using it for over a year, before it got this big and it was a beta. I was fortunate enough to get a lifetime premium for free as a student. Definitely worth it.
@bo0mh4cks Thanks for your support! Feedbacks during the beta has been very helpful to us to stabilize the feature sets!

I've tried a few services that do something like this, but this edged out as the best. It's an idea that expands on the necessity of "throwaway" email for web safety and comfort, and does it very well. Having a unique and permanent email address that can be turned off at any point means customized login information, tracing for the source of spam or phishing, and just good old email organization. Clean but intuitive interface and a great Chrome extension make this idea applicable to the mainstream. I see myself using this for the rest of my Internet life, and have been recommending it to even my tech-averse friends. I see it having good mainstream appeal, especially with such an approachable free tier but valuable paid tier.
@kautiontape Thanks Shawn for the on point review! We've put a lot of effort into the UX (the UI still needs some love 😅) and glad that you like it too!

As an alias cannot be guessed, if you receive an unsolicited email on an alias from an unknown sender, this is the ultimate proof of a break or that your data has been sold and then you can complain to the site.
The hard part at first was the long work to change emails for a hundred of my online accounts, but it was worth it to get rid of spam once for all.
A really great open source tool everyone should use as anti spam.
@metabaron Thanks for your support! Spams become more and more personalized and with email aliases, we are in control instead of relying on the Gmail/Outlook/etc spam detection.

I have been using SimpleLogin since December, and I have come to rely on it remarkably quickly. SimpleLogin has combined great functionality with a great interface. The catchall email alias creation is genius, and certainly beats out my previous solution of creating -- by hand -- incoming mail forwarding routes on Mailgun for each service that I used :). As a student, I have been using the pro plan for free, but even at $4/month without discounts it has remarkable value. I now have over 300 aliases and SimpleLogin has forwarded nearly 6000 emails -- essentially every email from a service or newsletter is now routed through SimpleLogin, allowing for much better filtering and tracking.
@kevinli120 Hey the catchall is indeed much faster than going to Mailgun :D. And thanks for your support!

Love it.
Same as discovering VPN changed my tech life discovering this has rocked my presence online.
The level of privacy we achieve by using this app is amazing.
With a few clicks that take around 5 seconds I have a unique email address that I can also control with similar amount of time (enable disable).
Love the app and I plan to stay premium forever.
@majk_labama Hey glad that SimpleLogin has been useful to you! I also love the one click alias creation with Chrome/Firefox extension, it's so convenient :).

Absolutely love it. I don't know how I ever lived without it... or, I suppose I do. I used Gmail's + notation (myemail+website@gmail.com, for each "website") but many e-mail address fields do not support the + character, and you still expose your Gmail account this way even when they do. Not ideal.
With SimpleLogin, you get a nice bundle of features for free. You can create a limited number of aliases (at the time of this writing), which you can then use to receive and send e-mails, without exposing your mail e-mail account. You might be "obsequious_singulariment at simplelogiin.co" for one specific web site, and this way you can easily track all e-mails that come from that web site - as well as any other third parties to whom that web site may have given your information. It's easy to block spam, and identify bad actors who share or sell your data. As a bonus, the Alias Generator will create some pretty cool unique aliases for you! (I made up "obsequious_singulariment" for this review, but you get the idea)
I went straight for the Premium version. With the very reasonably priced annual subscription, you get unlimited aliases, PGP encryption (provide your public key to have all your e-mails encrypted to you), and even the ability to use your own domains. Lots of features, it is very flexible to create and organize aliases. You can organize aliases into folders, have multiple mailboxes (real e-mail addresses), and you have multiple SimpleLogin provided domains to organize your aliases as well. Lots of options - not necessarily to be used all at once, but available as your use case warrants. Again, most of these features are exclusive to the premium/ paid account, which I highly recommend.
The software is open-source, and the company has an excellent privacy policy - they almost never save your e-mails, and then only when it is beneficial to you, and for a very limited time. Great terms of service, privacy minded, and superb retention (or lack thereof) policy. Perfect next step to improving your online privacy.
@bsgibbons Wow, thanks a lot for the review Bradley! Happy to have you in the SimpleLogin community! You're right that there's a lot of features, we are working on it to make it a bit less overwhelming, especially for new users.
