Google Drive sync for Linux

Skymir mirrors your Google Drive folders to Linux with two-way sync, double-click Google Docs shortcuts, and a native GTK tray. Local saves upload within seconds; changes made in Drive arrive within about a minute. Deletes go to the trash on both sides, and a sync that would delete more than half your files is refused. $19 one-time, 14-day free trial, no subscription.

Hey David, that rclone story where it wiped 1,437 Docs sounds like a nightmare, so the rule that refuses any sync deleting more than half your files makes total sense. Linux folks have been waiting on a proper Drive client for years
@uddipta for sure it was 😂. I made the app out of necessity, as I work between 3 devices and constantly switching between them, and have the mirror work seamlessly is essential for my workflow.
The rule is also adjustable, so you can change it from 0-100% in the settings.
The safety check that stops a sync if it might delete too many files is a thoughtful touch. That could save a lot of trouble.
@mathew_james2 yes, and it is also adjustable, so the user can decrease or increase the setting to their liking.
I like the one-time payment instead of another monthly subscription. That’s a nice change.
@magdalena_anderson one less thing to pay monthly 😀.
