Song Sweeper is a first-of-its-kind iPhone app for cleaning up messy Apple Music libraries. Find duplicate songs across different albums, unify album editions, surface songs you no longer listen to so you can remove them, and favorite your most-played tracks to improve recommendations.
Nice initiative, would love to use this on other music platforms since I do not use apple music, where I have multiple versions of the same song, for example remastered, the original one, alternative versions of the same songs all somewhere in the "liked songs"

@viktorgems The plan was to support Spotify however sadly last year Spotify blocked third parties from using their APIs (unless you are a large company with 250,000+ MAU).
In this category, “explainability” may matter as much as detection accuracy for retention. Would you consider adding a decision card for each cleanup action (why it was marked duplicate, why keep A/delete B, and rollback window) so users feel safer doing bulk actions?

@hanxl thanks for the feedback, that's a good idea. Two things:
Song Sweeper never deletes songs directly, instead it creates a playlist in Apple Music with all the songs for you to delete when you are confident directly in Apple Music.
Every feature page has an explainer/help card if you press the (...) in the top right corner to help explain how it works.
Please give these 2 things a try and let me know if it helps address your concerns.

Idea: I would need a tool that would swap my old 128kbps songs for 320kbps for better quality. 😅
