By the time the actual content starts, you've already burned 10 minutes. SpeedSkip fixes that. It's a Chrome extension that uses AI to analyze any YouTube video's transcript in real time and automatically skips the parts that aren't worth your time.
Finally a use for AI I can get behind. The sponsor skip alone saved me during a long tutorial, though I wish the playback jumped a bit smoother.

Dense back-and-forth content is one of the more nuanced cases — the extension handles it well when there are clear off-topic tangents or filler moments, but we're actively improving how it reads tightly packed conversations where everything feels relevant.
