SprinklerMap is a free web app for planning residential irrigation systems from start to finish. Draw your garden on a map, automatically place sprinklers, simulate irrigation coverage, organize zones, and generate the complete material list plus an estimated installation time β so you can understand what you need before starting the work.
Hey Product Hunt! π
I built SprinklerMap because designing a residential irrigation system is surprisingly difficult before you actually start digging.
You need to understand where sprinklers should go, whether their coverage overlaps correctly, how to divide the garden into zones, and roughly how much material you'll need. Most homeowners either sketch everything on paper, try to adapt professional tools, or discover design mistakes only after installation has started.
SprinklerMap brings that planning phase onto an interactive map.
You can:
π§ Draw your garden directly on a satellite map or enter its measurements
π― Position sprinklers manually or use Auto Sprinkler as a starting point
π± Set radius, angle and orientation for each sprinkler
πΊοΈ Visualize overlapping coverage and identify potentially under-covered areas
π§ Organize irrigation zones and estimate the materials needed for the project
The goal isn't to replace hydraulic calculations or professional irrigation designers. It's to give homeowners and DIYers a much better starting point before buying materials or digging trenches.
The tool is free, and I'm continuing to improve it based on real irrigation-design principles and user feedback.
I'd especially love to hear from the Product Hunt community:
π What would you want SprinklerMap to calculate or visualize next?
Thanks for checking it out! π§
