No account needed for the free tier — I wanted the barrier to trying it to be zero, and everything processes right in your browser, so your buyers’ addresses never get uploaded anywhere. If you ship higher volume or want the labels to actually look like your store’s, there are paid plans for that (unlimited labels, custom colors/fonts, QR codes on packing slips), but the free tier is a real, permanently-free tier, not a trial.
