I built this app in my free time to solve a issue: security. Whenever we use third party apps to enjoy more of our cars, we must do it as safe as possible. While there are other apps already, none of them chose security over ease of use. Instead of asking for the Tesla account username and password, I chose to ask for the token that gives access only to the vehicle, not to the whole account. This will soon be the official way to do it, as Tesla already started implementing proper third party apps support. The field for promo codes doesn't allow me to put them there as they are too long. We use it mostly because of the ease of use, but also to show others how technology should be and most importantly, to please the kids! The car can fart on demand and the kids just go crazy for this small feature.
