I built The Wealth Pool to empower consumers with easy-to-use, advisor-grade financial planning technology and to empower people to have healthy conversations about money. Existing personal financial management tools… • …are too fragmented: there’s a calculator for every goal (e.g., home/car purchase, retirement, etc.)! • …require too much work (expense tracking and manual categorization): making it hard to measure your financial health quickly • …don’t go deep enough: default categories are too high level to provide actionable insight And in addition to these product challenges, there’s a lot of stigma around talking about money. And if you work with them, they’ll likely require you to use their custom personal financial management tool — which suffers from all of the problems listed above! I learned all this the hard way — to the tune of $5000 — for access to my previous financial advisor’s custom software. All of this sucked. From this pain, the Wealth Pool was born. My desire is to help people avoid my experience and to give individuals more confidence, control, and clarity about their current financial health and to plan for an even healthier financial future. ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ In addition to providing a best-in-class suite of tools for transaction categorization, expense management and cash flow projections — The Wealth Pool’s unique contribution to the personal financial management genre is the ability to compare your current financial “vitals” with other cohorts that you identify with (age, income, net worth demographics, etc.).

Specifically, The Wealth Pool anonymously aggregates data from all other households on the platform and allows you to compare where you’re at in your financial journey — while maintaining your privacy. No one else does this. We’re finding particular interest from gig workers and the new class of creators from the passion economy — as people who are monetizing their social media activities realize that they need more powerful tools to help make sense of their newfound income. @ravi_bajnath thanks for the comment/feedback. Our platform is actually about inclusivity. I named The Wealth Pool after The Gene Pool -- we're all in this together and can help one another. Genetic diversity is the strength of any population and diversification is the foundation of finance. Our financial planning tech is free and is on par with what you'd receive working with a professional. Hope that gives some context and thanks again for the feedback!

@ed_lamark Thanks for the response, I did not expect a reply nor did I expect a very odd eugenic-like distortion of the historical consequences of Finance. Wealth and Gene pools 🧐??? Wealth is accumulated from the uneven distribution and exclusion of capital, it is a myth of reality.
