I'm one of those people who have a lot of tabs open. So I spend a lot of time just switching between tabs. To make tab switching easier, I created this chrome extension.
Press and release Alt/Option + Shift to switch to previous active tab:
Press and hold to open the tab thumbnail view: Alt/Option + Shift and while holding these keys, you can you use arrow keys to navigate thumbnails of tabs or use the mouse to click
When installed, you will need to scan all existing tabs once to create their thumbnails. For tabs in future, they are created automatically.

No tracking

@petethewiz the biggest problem I faced was in creating an account on the chrome web store for the extension because the payment processor it uses does not work with credit cards in Pakistan. My cousin created the account for me from the US

Wow @m_talhaashraf ! That's a really great chrome extension !
I mean, it's easy to get lost in all the tabs on my browser 😵💫 sometimes, and I am not always sure of if I still need a tab or not 😅
Thanks for making this useful tool 🔥
This could be a great productivity booster for heavy browser users.
I'm wondering about the performance impact. Does generating and displaying thumbnails for many tabs affect browser speed or memory usage significantly?
@kyrylosilin I've been using it for a month and it does not seem to have any impact on the performance of chrome or on my laptop's memory or cpu usage. I think that is primarily because of the fact that the thumbnail capture functionality is built in chrome. And the overlay itself is simple css and html with some basic js.

No more guessing games with tab titles. Kudos on the launch, Talha!
