Review Trace?
Reviewers mostly say Trace is useful because it turns rough prompts into workable, editable workflows and makes clear which steps should stay with humans versus AI. Users repeatedly praise the visual graph, control during execution, and fast setup with tools like Slack, Notion, Jira, and CRM-style processes, especially for ops, compliance, and internal automation. Makers of STORI and Jupitrr AI echo that flexibility for multi-step work. The main complaints are shallow integrations, weak notifications for failed runs, limited debugging, and a need for better onboarding, scheduling, APIs, and version control.
I started using Trace to design workflows for promoting new products and supporting customer onboarding. It’s been really helpful in mapping out the process clearly and ensuring that all steps are aligned. Cannot wait for more new features!! Great Idea!
The hybrid approach makes it a much more reliable and useful tool than an A.I only approach. Trace helped me identify (or more accurate prove) areas which we can safetly automate and break apart tasks that usually end up being too difficult/time consuming for one person to do.
Clean idea. I like that it doesn’t just slap AI on top but actually studies the workflow and plugs in where it matters. The Slack/Jira/Notion connection makes it feel practical, not gimmicky
Low-key feels like the group project partner who actually does their part 😅. Love that it plugs into Slack/Notion instead of adding another tab to babysit
Just tried Trace, pretty slick. Love how it spots repetitive tasks and plugs AI in where it actually helps instead of overcomplicating things. Integrations with Slack, Jira, and Notion feel seamless. Definitely a solid workflow booster.

Been diving into Trace lately, and it's pretty solid. Automating workflows with AI agents feels like a game-changer, especially with seamless integrations into tools like Slack and Jira. It really speeds things up and cuts out the repetitive noise. Loving how it frees up time for more meaningful tasks! Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to streamline your team’s workflow.
Looks like Trace is doing some solid work making workflows smoother with a mix of AI and human touch. Always love when tools find that sweet spot between automation and keeping things human-centered. I’m curious about how intuitive the integration with tools like Slack and Jira feels in practice.

Founders showed me Trace when we met in SF. I typed the compliance overlooking process I was discussing in the office that day and it kicked out a full workflow, split up for AI agents and humans, and I could tweak everything in seconds thanks to their templates and editing tools.

Would love to see deeper integrations with more team chat and CRM platforms (we are using Google meet and google chat)
Used Trace several times at home, but was not allowed to use at work sadly. I work in finances and since Trace requests data to docs, so it's not allowed. I did use trace to summarise hackerNews articles and get the digest to my email everyday and it works very well. I want to schedule the runs though! It’s still early, but the core idea is strong.
