A trivia game was the first project I built when I was learning React. I didn't care much about the looks, I just wanted it to "work." Over time I’ve built more than a dozen projects that are just collecting dust in my Github. This month I’m re-designing some of them and preparing them for launch. Why?

Because I learned (against my will, ha!) that building is not the hard part, especially that anyone with a $20 AI subscription can build things now (great!). The boss level of product building is getting users.

I’m using these projects as guinea pigs to test and intimately learn about over 20 distribution channels (Product Hunt, ads, Reddit, SEO etc).

I also believe that now more than ever, design, user experience, and the adjacent skills — marketing, analytics, storytelling — will matter more than ever. My hope is that I naturally pick some of those up as I experiment with launching these mini projects into the wild.
