Terra carried this project end to end. Vizhi turns the Logitech MX Creative Keypad into mission control for Codex CLI, six live sessions on the LCD grid, one-press approvals, local Whisper voice prompts. GPT-5.6 Terra at high reasoning wrote nearly all of it in one long Codex session: a TypeScript service, a C# keypad plugin, a Swift voice helper, and AppleScript glue. Four languages in one week, I could not have covered that alone. For the safety-critical parts — TTY-verified approval delivery, the local dashboard token model — I moved Terra to max reasoning and used it as a reviewer; it caught real design gaps before they shipped. The biggest unlock was trust: early on I broke work into small steps, but by mid-week I was handing Terra whole subsystems and reviewing diffs. The proof moment: once the Voice key worked, I supervised the rest of the build through Vizhi itself. (Sol wasn't available on my setup, so this was Terra end to end.)

Hi Product Hunt! I built Vizhi for OpenAI Build Week last week. Codex writes almost all my code now, and I realised my actual job had become watching, approving, and nudging agents — while still sitting at a keyboard designed for typing. Vizhi turns the Logitech MX Creative Keypad into mission control for Codex CLI on macOS: six live sessions on the LCD grid, keys turn amber when a session wants approval, one press answers it. There's a Voice key with fully local Whisper transcription and after I added it, I used Vizhi to build the rest of Vizhi. Codex CLI + GPT-5.6 wrote nearly all the code (TypeScript, C#, Swift, and a bit of AppleScript). Everything runs locally — no cloud, token-protected, TTY-verified approvals. No keypad? npm run demo replays a full supervision session in your browser in about a minute — Node only. Would love your feedback, especially on what you'd want on the keys.

Update, September 2026: Vizhi has grown since Build Week. It is now two keypad plugins, Claude Console for Claude Code and Vizhi for Codex, on macOS and Windows. Vizhi Desktop, for the ChatGPT and Codex desktop apps, is in progress. The source moved off GitHub, so the old demo instructions no longer apply. Everything, including the keypad layouts, is at https://vizhi.dev. The way I build hasn't changed: an agent writes most of the code and I supervise it from the keypad, these days mostly with Claude Code. Thanks to everyone who tried it and asked for keys.
