I'm a complete noob when it comes to things like coding and digital art. As such, I'm both amazed and excited by the possibilities offered by the new generation of large language models like ChatGPT and generative AI tools like Midjourney. I started this free newsletter for people just like me, so it’s a beginner-friendly look at what AI can do and how to use it. I am especially focused on free-to-use tools and sites that let people get started with as little friction as possible.
I sincerely hope you find it helpful!

@missushaddock thanks for the kind words, Margie! I do remember our email exchange about "heavy prompts" and "splatterprompting."
I'm really happy to hear you're finding my stuff helpful.

Yes, you did great.
Have been checking out your info on Runway too.
I look forward to my regular dose of Why Try AI... super easy-to-understand, useful, practical and digestible AI news and guidance. While I appreciate the super-technical guidance of other AI newsletters, they're often related to alpha-stage developments. I like Daniel's content because it's about AI tools that I can use today.

Thanks so much for the positive review, Mark! I'm happy to hear you find the newsletter relevant and useful.
There are plenty of people out there with a much deeper understanding of the AI landscape, who tackle the technical, academic, and industry-level AI discussions.
So it was a conscious choice for me to focus on the practical "What can it do for the average person here and now" angle. I'm glad to hear that this approach resonates.
Very useful newsletter for the non-techie looking to learn more about AI tools. The content is relevant and interesting, I especially enjoy the beginner-friendly segment. A bit more interactivity would be great, like polls for new AI tools to review.

Thanks so much for the kind review, Sandra! I'm happy to hear you're enjoying my posts.
And noted about adding more interactivity! I have previously tried polls, but the engagement at the time was underwhelming. I'll try to think of ways to add some interactive options for the readers.
And don't forget, I am also always just one email or comment away!
