note steady improvements across versions and smooth “save/create anywhere” workflows. Common wishes: richer templates, tighter tone consistency across formats, and less occasional chat clutter. Overall, a polished, creator-friendly studio that encourages momentum from spark to finish.
Since using Youmind, I no longer use Perplexity. Youmind has brought me a more impressive AI search experience. Youmind is a product with excellent technical aesthetics, and the information architecture design is very thoughtful. The Board structure and categorization are very elegant, and it often finds higher-quality information sources. The newly launched shortcuts are extremely helpful in assisting me to understand information across various modalities. I look forward to more excellent features being released for creative assistance in the future.
It’s fantastic because it simplifies the entire creative process, turning raw ideas into polished content quickly. The AI doesn’t just assist with writing; it helps you structure thoughts, refine drafts, and even spark new ideas
What needs improvement
It could benefit from more customization options for different content types. For instance, letting users tweak AI suggestions based on their tone or audience could make it even more versatile. Also, a stronger focus on collaboration features would be a nice touch for teams working on projects together.
vs Alternatives
The versatility across different media types like articles, podcasts, and videos made it a no-brainer for me.
Just tried Youmind and I'm really impressed! The clean, intuitive interface makes mind mapping a breeze, and I love how quickly you can jump into creating. The AI assistant is a brilliant addition – it really helps to kickstart ideas or expand on concepts without feeling intrusive. It's a fantastic tool for anyone looking to organize thoughts visually and get a helpful boost from AI. Definitely seeing this as a valuable part of my workflow!

I'm a founder of AI product, also is a big user of YM (actually our products have some similar features LMAO :)
For me, I used YM since ver0.1 until 0.4, TBH the experience is way better than my expect. As an AI-native writting studio, "save/create anywhere" is very straight forward for me. With its help, my chaotic docs( relevant to my creation) could be narrow down and schedule smoothly. cant wait for next version
I've been using YouMind since February 2025, using it to create content about the world's intangible cultural heritage and everyday life.
Boards has greatly helped me structure and organize my intangible cultural heritage projects, given that there are over one million intangible cultural heritage projects worldwide.

The kind of tool I’d actually mess around with while brainstorming a side project. Love the “learning meets writing” angle, it’s like it’s nudging you to create without overthinking the process. Curious to see if it actually helps polish ideas without making things feel templated. Definitely worth a test run with a quick draft or concept.
This is interesting, feels like it’s bridging the gap between “I have an idea” and “I actually shipped something.” I like the learning-meets-creation angle; it’s practical but also encourages exploration. Would love to see how well it keeps the workflow frictionless, AI can sometimes make things feel more cluttered than creative.

Perplexity is an excellent product! We hope to continue refining it in future iterations.
