The "cons" is not an issue of Station per se. It's using Electron to build the app and Electron is known to use a lot of CPU. I'd like to see native software. Pros: Ease of use Cons: On a recent Macbook Air it consumes 20% CPU doing absolutely nothing. If this app is targeting business, wasting energy is an issue.
