When an ai bot automatically patches an error every single morning like fixing missing order data it seems like a huge win. but the core issue never gets solved at the root cause.

A human worker would get annoyed and report the bug after a few days, while an agent just quietly fixes it thousands of times without anyone noticing the system is actually broken upstream.

Noticed this in analytics last quarter and originally thought it was a tracking error. It wasn t. People research the particular problem, go to a docs page, and sign up from there. Homepage serves people that have already heard about us.

So I started thinking of the docs as our front door. Pages are now written starting with the problem in clear language followed by code, and end with a link to the next action instead of "see also".

Needed to update my account details on a tool I use.

Instead of a clear settings button, I was greeted with floating menus autoplaying videos and popups asking me to upgrade my plan. It took way longer than it should have to find a basic link.

The site looked amazing, but the experience was exhausting.
