For me, it was mostly about risk and peace of mind rather than pure upside. I noticed I instinctively deprioritized options with higher potential returns if they came with uncertainty or downside stress, even when the math might suggest otherwise. That tension between “what feels safe” and “what might be optimal” is actually what inspired MoneyRank in the first place.
