I built TickTappy because I was frustrated with time tracking apps that felt like work themselves. For years, I just used an Excel spreadsheet on a shared drive to track my time across projects. Every "proper" time tracking app I tried (Toggl, Clockify, etc.) was built for teams and billing - they wanted me to categorize everything, set up projects, fill out required fields.
