Founder, Roadmark β€” honest roadmaps

About

Solo founder building Roadmark. Most public roadmaps rot the moment the plan changes β€” dates slip quietly, features disappear, and nobody outside the team ever finds out why. I'm building the opposite: every pivot carries a decision log, every moved date keeps its history, so a roadmap you share with customers or investors stays trustworthy instead of turning into a list of stale promises. Here mostly to learn from other makers shipping in public. Always up for a conversation about launch timing, pricing, or how you keep your own roadmap honest.

Product Hunt now flags comments that are AI-generated. Honestly, I think this is a good thing.

I am attaching a screenshot below that shows how AI comments are marked.

How many users does it take to validate a product?

When you're a first-time founder/maker, and you're the only person using your own product, you probably overlook important things. That's why you need to test the product with as many people as possible.

The problem is that time is limited. You have to decide not only how many people will test it, but also who those people should be.
