Expecto Centum - Invoke a Hundredfold—your tickets to pull request, automated

The most productive engineers today have their own workflows to tackle any situation. You too can get the same high-quality results, were you able to replicate their processes. You could read their article or watch their tutorial and copy-paste their prompts over and over for every new feature or bugfix. Or... you could automate that workflow once—with custom code or prompts for each stage—and run it against the tickets in your backlog with a click of a button. This is the future of development.

Do you split your AI subagents into tiny narrow roles or broad ones?

I've been managing a dozen narrow agent configs where each file limits tools and picks a specific model like Opus for architecture planning and Sonnet for basic coding.

But assigning heavy models to review tasks gets expensive fast and juggling too many sub-roles makes the delegation chain messy.

If you use subagents in your dev workflow, do you prefer strict tool boundaries for every single task, or just two or three general-purpose agents?

Solo makers: What to Cut Before Launch and What’s Non Negotiable?

I'm three weeks from launch and I have a list of fourteen things I could still build. I know I can't build all of them. What I don't have is a rule for deciding.

The rule I've been using "cut anything that isn't core" is useless, because everything feels core when you're the one who built it.

What I'm trying to get to is a single non-negotiable: the one thing that, if it's missing, the product isn't the product. Everything else is a candidate for cutting.

So for the solo makers here: what was your one non-negotiable thing at launch, and what did you cut that you thought you couldn't? And looking back, did cutting it hurt, or did nobody notice?
