Amazon research tools for FBA sellers

About

AMZScout has been helping Amazon sellers find profitable products and validate niches since 2017. We're now building tools that connect our data directly to AI agents via MCP - so research that used to take hours of manual digging can happen in a single conversation with Claude, ChatGPT, or any AI assistant you use.

We tested AMZScout MCP across 50 niches - here's what actually surprised us

When we first shipped the MCP integration, we assumed the main value would be speed the agent pulls the data itself, no more copy-pasting between tabs.

But the more interesting part turned out to be something else.

Would you trust AI to make a go/no-go decision on an Amazon product?

Most AI tools can give you a convincing answer.

But without real Amazon data, that answer is still mostly reasoning based on limited public information.

With AMZScout MCP, an AI agent can check actual market signals first sales estimates, competition, reviews, pricing, keywords, and historical trends and then make a recommendation.

For example, you can simply ask:

Building an MCP server for Amazon data - what would you want your AI agent to know?

We're working on connecting AMZScout's Amazon data directly to AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) via MCP so instead of copy-pasting research between tabs, you can just ask your agent things like "is this niche worth entering?" and get real data back.

Curious what the PH community thinks:

  • What Amazon-research questions do you find yourself asking ChatGPT/Claude most often?

  • Where do current AI agents get it wrong when reasoning about e-commerce data (hallucinated numbers, no real access, etc.)?

We're launching this soon and would love input from anyone who's tried wiring their own data sources into an AI workflow - what worked, what didn't.
