Dad of two, software engineer, and solo builder from Kosovo. I'm Ari, a software engineer from Kosovo and a dad of two girls. Most of my projects start with something in everyday life that makes me think, "I could build something for this." Nina's Little Universe started when I tried explaining Moon phases to my daughter. I built her an interactive 3D world where she could turn Earth, explore day and night, and play with eclipses to see how they work. I also built Star Chart Kids to make daily routines more playful, and previously worked on PingChore to help service businesses handle weather disruptions. Nina's Little Universe - Interactive 3D space science for curious little minds

Nina's Little Universe is a handmade, interactive science world I built for my five year old daughter. Children spin Earth to discover day and night, explore Moon phases and eclipses, experiment with light, and meet planets through touch-driven missions. It's bilingual in English and Albanian, free, and requires no account. What began as a personal project for Nina is now being used in schools, helping children learn by touching, testing, and discovering instead of passively watching.

How do you handle last minute cancellations when the weather changes?

Hi everyone,

I am building PingChore on my own after seeing how often bad weather messes up appointments.

When rain or storms show up, customers cancel last minute and businesses are left reacting instead of planning. I am curious how you deal with this today.
Do you warn customers ahead of time or just handle cancellations when they happen?

I am still early and building this solo, so any real experiences or thoughts would help a lot.
